Etihad Return: Copenhagen Ex Mel $1242/SYD $1271; Milan Ex MEL $1219/SYD $1258; Rome Ex MEL $1218/SYD $1248 + More @ Momondo
Decent prices to Europe flying Etihad - and to some cities I haven't seen deals to in a good while. Some of these have a long stop in one direction (12 - 16 hours) but it is a daytime stop so you are free to go check out Abu Dhabi in between flights. Otherwise, Etihad are offering free stopovers (including a free hotel room) for up to 2 nights, but if you want to take advantage of this option you need to book direct, in which case add $100 or so to the prices listed below.
Dates are October & November 2024. All flights are one stop via Abu Dhabi and include checked bags.
I like to first search out dates in Google Flights, and the take those dates and search them in Momondo to get the cheapest possible price.
