Obviously the previously posted ex-demo leaf's do undercut this at $30k
But this great option for somebody wanting a cheap, new EV which isn't from China, doesn't have the weaknesses of the leaf (Passively cooled battery, CHAdeMO fast charge port).
Range isn't the longest, fast charging isn't the fastest, but the styling is fun, and for the new price it packs a heap of value. It undercuts the base yaris hybrid ($32,490 driveaway).
It is very short, so would be great for people who frequently park in tight spaces.

Customers will be contacted via the centre’s social media channels, or online (through the centre website or newsletter), they follow the link and fill in the FREE HOT DRINK form and agree to the terms to conditions in-centre.
The voucher will then be emailed to the customer immediately (verification of one voucher per email address).
From Thursday 15th August 2024, customers can begin redeeming vouchers at the specific centre’s participating retailers.
Customers show the participating retailer their voucher emailed to them to receive the 1 x hot drink.
For the purpose of this promotion, a medium hot drink is defined as a standard option from the tea, coffee and hot chocolate menus at each cafe, and does not include added extras including, but not limited to: almond, soy or oat milks, decaffeinated coffee or additional syrup shots. Additions to the standard menu option would need to be paid for on top of the voucher.
Spotted this when I was shopping tonight. It turns out that all PnS stores have the same price.
